Presumed to designate the Collection of Queen Christina of Sweden, it has also been attributed to Richard Cosway. The records of the Sale to the representatives of Christina, on the 7th of June, 1663, for 600 scudi, are in Giorn : di Erud: Toscana. Vol. III ., p. 305. See also the Catalogue of her Collection in Campori, “ Raccolta di Cataloghi.”
